Neon fuel pump ring

No way the hammer on the tangs would have budged this one. The strap wrench worked great, but I actually tore the rubber down to the kevlar fibers. I mean this was on TIGHT! Whatever, it works now, I could probably drop it in 30 minutes now, but the trick is to jack the passenger side up first and then drain the fuel. I drained level and the tank still has a bunch of sloshing gas that made it difficult to balance when installing it, that and the metal shield hanging up on the exhaust pipe along with the almost impossible to get a driver onto filler hose clamp. But its done. Another stinky job in the books. This tank was a dealer recall replacement tank, first one split at a seam.
