Fuel Tank -16 gallons.....why can I only put in 10 gallons?
Yeah, I tried that new "replacement" sender, then pulled it -- it was $#%@ useless. I found somebody who was changing over to 3/8 gas line and scored his old sender. Put a new sock on it and was good to go.
One other possibility: his tank could be collapsed from the top. Not really likely, but it is possible.
Also because of the short arm and shorter than stock lever ratio, the gauge will show full for a long time and then rapidly go to empty. Another bummer.
