33 freakin' degrees out plus I'm on call, no riding for me. The only riding I can do this fine blustery day is vicariously through youtube.

Here's some of the local canyons I love to ride.

oh, there's more in the club. i find myself daydreaming about the ride to work as i drive my truck thru the frozen tundra.

Got mine out today and rode around the neighbor to exercise the bike and feed my addiction. It was in the low fifty's' and a bit chilly for a bike ride, but I know its much colder for my brothers to the north..

I've got a clients bike in my shop right now and it's too cold to work on it, much less ride.

I got 6 miles in yesterday. Sun was out had to fire it up.

Lucky dog!

50's is tolerable. A short ride is better than no ride! Beautiful bike!

Another gorgeus ride! Yeah, it sucks for me right now. Even if it's reasonable in the Denver area, the canyon rides are out until the ice melts up there and the gravel gets washed off the corners.

Those are some great roads there Mike!

Here's this years winner on the Pikes Peak Hill Climb on his Ducati. It scared the crap out of me just watching it:

FEH! Fair-weather rider!!

I used to take my dirtbike out and play in the snow and ice and -30's back home in North Dakota when I was a young dumb kid, and even today, +30's is STILL ridable weather! You just gotta put on a few layers.... Just depends on how bad you wanna ride!!

I gave in last month when it warmed up to 45-50 and took a little 50 mile spin .....roads were wet, ( before salt ) now it needs a bath bad, and took it out a few days ago 20 mile ride to bank but it was cold.
Would love to ride out west again, you have some awesome scenery where you ride.

I'd give my right rear tire (yes the new one) to run the Isle of Man! :toothy8:

16 degrees this morning and streets were covered in frozen condensate, no thanks. I'm 47 now and if I tear myself up I'm screwed, I've got a mortgage to pay.

The best motorcycle race ever devised.

Thanks John, it really is beautiful out here, but dangerous too. You really have to look out for sand/gravel, it could snow at the drop of hat while riding the canyons and the freeze thaw cycles crack large rocks off the canyon walls in the spring. If you ever make it out here, let me know and bring a map and a highlighter. I'll mark up all the cool roads for ya.
