just kind of curious, will this thing really produce 800 plus HP, i haven't seen an 451 make this kind of power on an DYNO yet!!!!!!! anybody else NO, sounds like a killer motor though!!!!!!!!!!

Nice looking engine. Is it new or used?

If it does make 800+, big if, its going to be way up there in rpm. My guess would be 8000rpm or more.

Hi Dan, I haven't heard from you in a while? I've bought parts off Dan before, great guy no problem. Back when I last talked to him the engine was all new never ran.

Hey Mike, Thanks for the question. It is new, and for the performance of the motor the rpm range will be in the high 7000, this combo was factored with the solid bottom end, pistons, rods, cam, and the porting, valves the Indy head produce. Larry Ziglsis retired crew chief of Army in the late sixties and Frank Danston who runs this same combo in his 70 cuda , yielded 834hp and 779 lbs of torque. A great torque monster, thanks Dan
