This is pretty funny. Lets see, a bunch of guys get together on a forum to celebrate how awesomely powerful our cars are and cry about doing burnouts on the street? You all need to put down the expert keyboard and get a life, I live mine one burnout at a time.

Now what's the chances this poll will have any effect other than getting people to fling s*** at each other? (Which it seems to be performing well at.)
 
If a burnout MUST be done, then this is the way to do it. :)
I love burnouts as much as the next guy, but I can't afford all the tires.

No problem. Some people just don't get it. Some car show guys build their cars so that people ooh and ahh at their car and get their rocks off being cool and showing off around other people. I don't care if you aren't impressed. I love doing burnouts and I do them for me not anyone else. I do it at the dragstrip all the time and its fun but there is a time and place for them in every day life. When no one is around out on a desolate road where no one can get hurt but me if things go wrong.
 
I tought that every one with a real car loves burnouts...

It has nothing to do with "getting" anything.

I've built plenty of cars in my day that can burn down the best tire. A 392 blown Hemi 32 Ford Vicky, A Paxton blown 383, 49 Merc, a 29 Bantam Roadster 417 FI Hemi, and a few others. Now I have 2 Swingers street cars. I don't show them because I don't care if people "ooh and ahh" over them. I built them for me, no one else. Most people like them, others don't. It's not that they "don't get it". They're just not into it.

Some car show guys build their cars so that people ooh and ahh at their car and get their rocks off being cool and showing off around other people.

Precisely. But, you seem to have a problem with people having an opinion that is different from yours. As I stated earlier, no one is asking you to stop. It's your car, and you do with it as you please.

Simple solution is leave this as a discussion thread starta new one called fabo smoke shows for the ones who want to post burn outs and leave it at that
