11 3/4" rotors A-Body

Thanks for the input. I am interested in the larger rotors for that specific reason, but am also interested in larger calipers for the purpose of more surface area. More pistons would be nicer for an even dispersion of the pressure on the rotor as well. Are those later calipers about as good as it can get for the larger rotors, then, since they are the ones designed for the rotor and make use of the larger surface area?

the sky's the limit actually.

i purchased a kframe kit from hemidenny (on this site) which has mustang II spindles. there are a myriad of brakes that will work with these spindles including SSBC, Wildwood, etc. i'm using a set of ECI brakes, which comes with an adapter plate, gm calipers, ford rotor & doesnt move the wheels out.

there is an article here about putting viper calipers on a B body. something similar could be done with an abody: http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/howto/mopp_0507_caliper_swap/viewall.html

a guy from this site, Badart is building an autocross race abody (early cuda)

take a look at his brake setup. he has a chassis shop, so he might be able to help/advise you and give you sources for parts etc.

good luck!
