Just got my rpm polished air gap on, got my eddy heads installed, and got my TTI headers installed, after driving it and it must have made 50 hp more I decided to put a a whole new exshaust on it also, and shes is a little bent out of shape. I told her you cant spend too much on your kids. What do you guys think?
 
Mine has gotten so used to it she doesn't even say much. She's awesome.
 
Just do something for her and it goes away quickly lol when I plan on spending a good sum of cash I get her something first that way I can guilt trip her if she bitches about what I bought for me it works wonders and then she feels like an *** and I get to hug her and tell her it's fine Lmfao

Send her and her friend to Walmarts thay'll forget all about it.
But for gosh sakes don't tell her what you spent.
 
The only time mine ever said anything was when I fired up the new engine in the garage and it rattled the pictures off the walls.
 
Ive had her 29 years this wont be the last time its just misery for a night or 2. Maybe a short vacation would make her feel better.

Take off in the car for a couple days, that will straighten her out! And no I'm not joking!! Been married for 23 years and I have known her for 30 years:burnout:
 
i feel your pain. my lady has been with me for 6yrs. were not married but might as well be. i dont make a ton of money but i work my *** off and put in alot of over time. bills are always paid and we live a pretty comfortable lifestyle but it pisses her off when i blow a bunch of money on the car. then it pisses me off because i shouldnt have to ask to spend the money i busted my *** to earn. its a vicious circle.

My comments weren't pointed at you at all just at the statement. I just had a full blown go at it with my woman on this very subject. Funny how our women can spend time and $$ on themselves and the kids but when Dad wants a new paint job or whatever they give us crap. Funny I get the same crap and I'm the only one who has worked and knocked down the $$ since we've been married. I pay for everything and then some, kids n private school, college tuition to the tune of 160K in cash for the last 3 years. So if I want a car or a paint job by Gosh I'm gunna go get the **** and I'm not asking for permission!, ok Rant is over! :D

I make 6 figures a year and she isa house wife with no income but she has a check book I keep money in for her. Does she have a *****?

You and I got a lot in common. I feed my wife's check book 5K per month and that $$ is not for bills , just food and whatever else she wants. I pay everything else outside of the 5K and I mean EVERYTHING, even the fuel she burns. I guess women just need something to ***** at? Haaaa

Well that certainly explains your frustration.

But doesn't your scenario sort of ring true with the statement that you disagree with? You seem angry because she gets on you about buying car parts. Or painting a car or whatever.

So because she's not happy you aren't happy in that instance. Honestly if you think about it, it is a pretty true statement.

And I agree if you are providing everything then you should be able to get what you need if affordable, I don't see the problem.

My wife doesn't work either, when I get something she doesn't complain, often, lol, but I have just the opposite problem when she needs something I have to make her go get it, or get it for her.
 
mine is pretty good. no complaints.. just remember
its easier to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission..
