my new tunnel ram is on the stroker

-
I still havent had a chance to jet the car, it is cold outside and the track is closed. Tunnel ram and cold weather dont really mix...

A member here was asking for more detailed pictures, I hope this works, let me know if there are any more you would like.

The throttle pedal was out of a early 80's dodge car, the throttle cable is the cheapo at Autozone. The return spring bracket is a no-name piece picked up at a local swap. the actual linkage hooking the two carbs together is a Mr Gasket setup.

Just guessing your running a manual VB I dont see a kick down. Does that bracket you bought have provisions for a Kickdown?

Correct, manual valve body. There was another little block that came with the bracket that was intended to mount just under where the throttle cable mount went, so yes, it did have provisions for a kickdown. I do not know the manufacturer of this bracket, but it is the same type you can get from any major retailer. I don’t really like it and I will soon swap to some other type of bracket that is smaller, this thing is huge and looks "busy" with all the gadgets on it.

Looks sweet! Had the 408,same cam on the shelf. Was looking for the tunnel ram, when the oil pump/ intermediate shaft snapped. Please inform us,how it runs.

It is an animal!! I have about a 3800 stall in it, and 3:55 gears. I have not had it to the track with the tunnel ram, but with an Eddy airgap and a Holley 830 dp, it trapped at 121mph, I don't remember my E.T. though. I hope this year to get to a 10:90! But the car pulls VERY hard with the t ram

Yeah,like I said.Bad ,mean,and nasty! 408's ,so easy to tune.The 1st cam ,was a 260@ 050 flat tappet hyd.Thumped nicely,at 1100.Gotta love ,106 lobe centers!
