hello,
I was wondering if anybody has mini tubbed a duster with the rear fold down seat and kept the seat, it looks like it would be a major rework for the seat frames any help and pics would be appreciated. thanks ross

Well this might help me decide if I am keeping the rear seat now.. I also have the fold down rear seat. I guess It will be going away with now.

Now I don't know anything about them since I've never had one but how similar is the fold down seat in a Duster to that of an early Cuda? I think there's a couple threads somewhere about doing this to a Cuda and still keeping the seat functional. Keep us updated if you get it done. Very useful information for sure.

I think you would mini tub as ussual and then when down bolt bottom of seat back in and flip it up and move the latching posts to where they need to be. Im thinkin this should work. If it does guess my duster is getting minitubbed maybe

I believe there is a thread where someone cut down the seat for this purpose.

I am facing this same dilemma right now. Really want to Mini-Tub and relocate the leaf springs on my 76 Duster but worried about the fold down rear seats. Looks like a lot of extra work that I not sure how to approach and don't see how I will be able to keep that stock look and nice interior if I do.

Would be great to see some pics or hear from someone that has done this to see how it turned out.

Its on here. Just looked through my saved threads, could not find it. The seat frame was narrowed. Looked stock when done.
