To many park starts over the years wear parts . Read the dip stick . If it tells you to check fluid in neutral then start it in neutral. If you check fluid in park then start it in park. Live by this for all makes and models and they live longer. This is fact I don't care what BS anyone else says. Guys that reach in their cars and tap the key in park and start them don't know how much damage they are doing. Never idle , Rev or tune a car with a torqueflight in park. This is the worse thing you can do to a trans. Unless that front pump is pumping fluid there is no lube to any moving parts. Always start and warm your car in Neutral . Just some friendly advise you can take to the bank. Steve
