Steering Wheel Dart 73

Be ever ever so careful as the plastic is old and might be brittle and the clips are likely rusty and don't release smoothly.

You need to pry up each leg of the center piece. There is a metal clip on each pushed into rectangular holes in the wheel. (see the arrow in the photo below) The clips are crimped onto plastic pegs which also may want to snap.

I used a flat edge and slowly worked it up the leg carefully twisting until each snapped loose. If you pry too far out, you will see each leg bend and stress right were the clip is. Go very slow and take your time. Patience...
