Glad to find another internet home! While I can't say I'm a true Mopar enthusiast (I have deep alliances to another of the big three) I am stepping out of my comfort zone to build a project that I have been mulling about for many years.

I have the '68 Dart that I took my driver's test in. Its been sitting in the barn waiting for me to make up my mind on what direction I want to go with it. Its a nothing special 270 model with a overly tired 273. Very minimal rust and original everything!

I have been racing in the NASA American Iron series for many years and have decided to build the Dart to be worthy to compete, yet dependable enough for a multiple state jaunt. My current plans are for a custom coil-over 3-link Ford 9" rear, a coil-over front (perhaps the Alterkation depending on how my math works out), big old brakes, full cage and more. The only thing I haven't settled on is the engine. Stroked small block seems to be the best option yet I'm not convinced that a modern-day hemi wouldn't be a fun addition. Yes I am insane and love a insurmountable challenge.

I look forward to seeing what everyone else has going on and gaining valuable information from you with the wealth of experience.

Welcome! Check out Autoxcuda, Badart as well.Badart makes some sweet chassis parts. He's prepping a SCCA mount.Check em out.

since you are going full cage / full chassis setup able to hold BB or 426 hemi, whats stopping you from dropping in a 605" hemi stroker 13:1 compression running on E85? 850hp all day long.
