is this a ram 9 1/4 or dana 60?

Before I ordered the truck I studied anything I could find about it. For some strange reason the only way you could get a 360 in an extended cab was to buy an R/T, which were 2wd. I wanted 4wd, so I ended up with a 4.7, the only V8 they offered. 318s in Dakotas were discontinued after 99, replaced by 4.7s. BUT, you could get a Quadcab with a 360, in either 2wd or 4wd. Go figure.

It's been a good truck, have had very little trouble with it. The 4.7 has done better than I expected at car trailer towing, although I'm sure the 3.92 gears help. The engine uses virtually no oil between oil changes done every 3K miles. It's been a far cry from the 74 B-300 van I bought new which was a major POS assembly-wise. The 318 in it used a quart every 1200 miles, by 80K it using so much oil I had to pull it and go thru it.
