just finishing up mounts for a 5.7 / 6.1 install and was wanting any input regarding engine location.
currently mated to a small block 727....I kinda like what I see with the Hemi moved forward appx 1/2" giving a little extra firewall room and steering shaft clearance. I also like the Hemi shifted slightly to the center....so zero notching is required for the alternator on the 6.1 I'm using.
I presently do not have any kind of adapt plate between the Hemi and the 727....anyone know the thickness of the required plate?
