back out on the street again, and shifting seems to be good! A few noises here and there that need to be dealt with, along with some fine tuning, and I should be back out on the street for an extended break in cruise. Looking forward to Saturday afternoon, when I can spend the needed time getting an alignment and finishing up the car! Ben.

I assume the tranny is back in. I forgot to suggest that you install steel forks in the tranny rather than using the brass. more beefy. Also, to get a better peddle feel you may want to consider changing out the rubber pad on the clutch arm where it goes into the clutch fork. replace it with a Chevy rocker ball. Make sure you put a little grease on the ball. You get a better feel when you engage the clutch.
