Compressor oil???

had a guy tell me to use slick 50-- has been using it for 20 years? what say u!!
 
whatever is sitting on the shelf..........its still works fine after 25 years.
 
I have always changed the oil regardless of hours each spring and fall with Campbell Hausfield comp oil. I don't own that brand compressor but it seems to do fine after 10 plus yrs.

Ding Ding we have a winner use NON detergent this is a NON combustion pump and as such does not need detergent and I have been told using it will cause foaming inside of the pump.
I use NON detergent 10wt, but I have used 20wt also, would not use more than 20wt
