Well... To remove the rear servo piston to intall the tail housing has to come off, and in order to do that, you gotta have some kind of special snap ring pliers to disengage the output shaft bearing from the housing...

Either way, since the trans shifted perfectly before and didnt slip, I think im just gonna do the VB mods and reassemble the trans. I dont really have the time and resources to do a full rebuild, and I dont want to ruin a perfectly good trans on a crash course rebuild.

Ive heard mention of "blocking the accumulator piston", but I dont know exactly what that entails. My TF-1 kit says to simply reassemble the accumulator piston as it came out??? I thought that this was one of the primary things that needed to be modified. Any thoughts here?
