it's rather short and angled(and 8-9 inches away from the firewall) on the drivers side airbox side @ only 1.5 inches out and the air box door swings right past it. I'll double check the clearance as soon as the test pieces get made and adjust as necessary. since I have A/C going into the dart I don't expect to use the door (but it does open and close) except to clean leaves and such out of the air box. so far the passenger side opens right up to the speaker grill and it's 90% open, that works for me.
