That's Ryan Peterson's turbo slant six. It is a killer!!!!
I only hope our car will eventually run within a FULL SECOND of that car...
He knows what he's doing! We are newbies, and are currently running only ten pounds of boost. Ryan makes probably a little over 500 HP to go that fast with a 727 transmission. I think his boost numbers top 25... a whole different ball game!
We have the secondaries disconnected and are making only around 300 HP at this time. I would estimate that set up like it is, our car MIGHT run in the low 13's.
As we learn more about tuning this thing, we will raise the boost level, connect the back two barrels (Ryan's car ran 11.20s on just the front two barrels) and try some different launch techniques in an effort to get some decent ET's.
