Those Demons dont have the rod hanger of the old TQ's that helped in dialing in idle quality. Otherwise, an old new approach in carburetion. Wonder if they will issue a larger model? And it is technically a 3 barrel.

The Street Demons are metered in the primaries with two vacuum pistons, like other Carter/ Edelbrock models.

They actually really helped the idle circuit with a small air bleed at the front of the primary ports that brings the mixture at the front of the throttle plates toward the center.

They are also a square bore carb, so the fuel mapping in the manifold is more central, especially at idle and cruising, with the small air bleeds at the front. You have to run their base gaskets and plate to keep it working properly that they supply.
