Anyone know what's the widest rear tire width that will tuck under my 67 Barracuda?
Any recommendation for SS cragars width, type or offset to max this out?
Also any tire ratio suggestions? I'd like to use 60 series if possible.

BFG 245x60x14's will fit fine. 255x60x15 just fit. I run 255x45x17's on the street.

These are 235/60/R14 all the way around. They fit great with no clearance problems. Nice car by the way........

min recommended width on a 255 is 7 inch, which is what I use on the fastback with a 4 1/2" offset. 255/60-15's fit perfect on the rear.

Aren't the stock rims 14" on 67-69 Barracuda's?
I must need to catch up on wheel technology; do they make classic SS Cragar wheels in 15" rims to fit 5-4 bolt pattern?
15" would be the max for me anyway, I'm too old school for these huge wheel diameters with LP tires, old fashin I guess but I like some meat on the sidewall.

I had the rear wheels made (specialty wheel) in a 15x7 small bolt pattern. It is hard to find a performance tire in a 14 inch anymore so I adopted to a 15 inch. A 255/60-15 is an old school G60-15 definitely not low profile. I think they still make a Crager SS style in a SBP.

8 inch wheel centered. Usually 4 1/4 Back space depending on the wheel lip thickness. With these wheels 275 60 x 15 and they get real close to the leaf springs. usually will just touch the clamps in a hard turn with low pressure. Did more the several in my time.

Kinda like the deep dish, would 3" offset be okay ya think or would it rub the outer fender with a 255 on a 15?

With an offset hager you can run a 10.50 section width.

Rimwidth 8-9.5.

Tires, check out the new M/T street comps or sportmas pros depending on what you want to accomplish.

I just realized 255 is a little over 10" ...8" rims might work but might not look as good as on 10" rims, that changes everything - now I need to go back to the cragar site.
What offset would be best for that? Still 4.5" ?

I recommend you measure both wheel well dimensions of your specific car as not all things are exactly true and things change over 45 years. Only then, will you know for sure.

they look nice, what's the backspace? Did you need to use adapters?

the problem at this point is not the width so much as the bolt pattern 15X10 x 5x4
