Dana by Strange or Moser?

Thanks for the input Myron. Yeah, 2" sounds plenty enough. Awesome car you're running and I congratulate you on your accomplishments with it. Thanks for turning me on to the wheel brand. They have a cool gray, star shaped wheel I really like...

See if there is a 2" screw-in wheel stud option. That's what I use with my 8 3/4" Moser axles and Holeshot wheels. The wheels have a 1/2" center so there is no sense in having wheel studs any longer than necessary.

Holeshot Wheels are race only, but there are no concerns if you only use tham at the track with slicks. However, some people do "carefully" use them on the street. Thicker centers and rims halves are available for added strength, but are still sold as race-only.
Many style and offsets are available.

How fast is your '69? 1/2" studs are more than enough for most applications. 5/8" studs will prevent the use of OEM wheels if it's a street/strip car.
