BluePrint Engines? Experience?

74DartSwinger360,

Thank you for your interest in BluePrint Engines. If thereare any specific questions you have please give me a call. I want toaddress a couple of the posts referenced in this thread. One of the posts isfrom 2007 (before I joined BluePrint) so I am not going to address thatspecifically but I will tell you we had some issues back then and we have madea number of changes internally (beefed up quality control, completely newcustomer service and tech support teams) to address those issues. I willalso guarantee you that every BluePrint Engine is dyno tested prior to leavingour facility. If the engine is not sold with an intake, carb and distributorthose parts are put on the engine prior to the engine being put on the dyno andtaken off of the engine prior to being put in the crate. On the thread that inkjunkie refers to is in reference to 2 different engines . The first wasa shortblock (which we do not provide any warranty coverage) We did bring thisassembly back and upon inspection we did find abnormal wear on the bearings andwe fixed the short block and sent back to the customer. The second engineon that thread had some oil pressure and carb issues, we sent out some updatedparts and the vehicle owner has been driving the vehicle withoutproblems. I don’t believe this is anything special but does show you ifwe make a mistake we will stand behind it and get it addressed. I believe aslong as we continue to do that we will continue to experience success. Keep inmind we sell through Summit, Jegs, Speedway and Pace Performance to name a few,do you think they would continue to put BluePrint Engines in their books if weweren’t taking care of the customer? Also on the question about the blocks thatwe have started to offer, we have designed the block it is our own casting. Theblocks are all cast and machined here in the USA. We have had a ton ofinterest in this product and are excited about the potential.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have anyquestions.

Thank You,

Andrew Obermeier
