Vendors for "complete" axle assemlies???

Hey, guys.
I have been searching for the rear axle solution for my 'Sport for quite a while now, getting down to crunch time.

I got a price from one vendor for a complete (drum to drum) freshly rebuilt 8 3/4, sure grip, A body width, large bolt pattern aftermarket axles, 4.10 gears, 489 case, cush sleeve eliminator for $1750ish before shipping..

...but a trusted local Mopar expert whose opinion I value believes that this might be too much cash so I'm hesitant to submit the order.

Can anyone point me in a direction of a vendor that they like? Anyone mind sharing what they paid for a similar assembly?

I don't see the problem here... Housing, new axles, rebuilt sg, new gears all set up and with brakes for 1700 ?

What do you think it should cost, i don't see how this person is making money to continue.
At that price id be suspicious if ANYTHING were new, and anything done at all, and some expert told you it's to expensive.... you need a new expert.

If thats to much why not rebuild yours, which done correctly would be less than 1700, and more than 650.
