Hi Steve: Wow, this site really works...though I'm new at learning to use it. I'd like to see the pictures. Where are you located? Do you have a Barracuda....I'd like to show you a pic of mine. Thanks so much. The info above says not to send my email address.

Yes, I'm in the Blue Ridge Mountains just a bit north of Roanoke in Botetourt County. I am happy to find this site where folks really want to share their treasures. I've been paralyzed since the age of three with polio. When I graduated business school, my parents loaned me the family Barracuda. It was easy to install hand controls and easy to fold my wheelchair and load behind the seat...can't find a car now that allows for easy loading. I used the car until I could afford to buy my own. In 1994, my father passed away and the car came back to me. My husband restored it and I'm happy to have it home again. I'll be posting a pic when I can figure out how to do so! Again, thanks to all those who responded. Happy motoring.....

Sharon, Welcome and thanks for sharing your story. You will see that the folks on here are GREAT! I am restoring a 65 Barracuda and may have other parts you might need! Let me know. I wish I had an extra manifold, but only have the one I am using. I may have an extra Carter 3853 or 3854 if you are looking for the correct carb. I will check that out for you!

Welcome Sharon to you, your husband and of course your neat little Cuda!! To send a PM just click on the user name of the person you want to PM and a window will pop up with a couple different options, one of them being "send a PM". Then just click on that and a page will pop up with the window for typing your message, a subject and so forth. Type your message and send it off!!

I don't have a 4 bbl intake for 65, but I believe it needs to be pre-66 as the bolt hole angle changed sometime between 65 and 66. The casting number is probably a good idea!! Smart lady!

Welcome again, geof
