Have wired more than my fair share of auto's as well. I normally just solder/shrink tube everything but being that the bike will be coming apart in a few years to be completely refinished might as well make it as easy as possible. The company that powder coated the frame did an absolutely miserable job. The tank had to have a nickel coating put in it to keep the fuel from seeping thru it. The shop that did that did an equally crappy job as the plating has peeled off in a few spots. When I purchased the bike years ago I had zero time on my hands so I had a shop put it together for me. I have been chasing problems ever since.
