Just got my new welder for home but am seriously considering replacing my garage before I get too carried away. Another source for EvapoRust in Edmonton is Busy Bee Tools, they have it in gallons, that's where I went. Maybe this miserable winter is over and we can do a little work on our cars!

Haha yeah i'm making sure i've got everything i need before i tear into it, because i kinda know what to expect.. there's usually alot more sin when the panels start coming off! The rockers are solid until it hits the lead seam where it mates with the quarters and i know the part of the rocker that goes behind the quarter is rotten, so i'm just gonna replace the whole outer rocker that way i can clean/paint the inner and weld the new rocker in and never have to worry about it, plus i'm trying to avoid any patch work on it. The inner rocker appears to be solid on the car which is a bonus. As for the door strikers.. mine look like they've been welded by Stevie wonder around the striker area, so i bought replacements. I plan on keeping this car forever so i don't wanna cut any corners on it and only do this once. AMD should be my sponsor, haha! I'm just lucky all the critical parts of the car are solid. The frame rails and torsion bar crossmember are solid and it has never been in a wreck (aside from the drivers frame rail where bumper mounts in a little torn which will be an easy fix)

Yeah the weather has started to look more like spring these past few days! it's about time. Yeah i'm in the same boat on setting up a garage to work on my car, it's currently snowed in the garage that's not heated, so i have to wait until it's melted away before i can get it out and begin tearing it apart.. i cant wait to start on it! What welder did you get?
