They are called lap dogs for a reason.
I think people should know that dogs are different and have different needs.
Some are vicious. Some will lick you to death.
If people had more sense, some dogs would have more freedom.
Someone recently had a post here of his husky that wanted to stay outside in the snow. The busy body neighbors reported him. The dog was fine.
I have Chihuahuas that never go outside. The house is their world and they are perfectly happy to stay inside with people and shake.
But they dont get on furniture except in a lap.
