..if you start 20 and it goes to 50 w/out vac advance then you are adding 30 mechanical.. that is too much!
you will have to weld the slots in your distributor to restrict mech advance to about 15.
Yep, that's what we're going to do. With the vacuam advance it was at 50+
I'm going to try running the initial advance down, see how it does and then weld the slots to limit the advance.
