Wanted positive battery cable/starter wiring

I had to cut the small wire to the starter as the stud on the starter was stripped, so I need a positive battery cable/starter wring for a 67 Dodge Dart with 273 2 barrel automatic. If I have to put on a clamp on battery post that is ok, just don't want to pay $125 for a repop. Located in Southeast South Dakota.

I had the guy who rewound the alternator for me, replicate the starter/battery cable for my 71 dart. Wasn't perfect but REALLY close for around $60.00
You might try a motor repair shop.
 
You might check with your local Chrysler dealer. That battery cable was used on almost every car manufactured by Chrysler during the 70's and also on trucks well into the 80's. I got lucky and was able to get a brand new one from my local dealer. I can't remember but I think it was around $50. Worth a shot!
 
Let me look and see what I have, I removed allot of stuff off an 86 3/4 tun 318 truck and make you a good deal on it , give me a a while to get pictures for you.
 
You would have to put new battery connector on it and this is 5' long
I don't know if this is what you are looking to find but this is what I have :coffee2:
The old clothe wrapping is still stuck to part of it so you may want to clean it up some and looks like a splice has been made on the small wire that goes to your Starter but it all in good working order
