Hi my Mopar friends. Can you give me a heads up on these exhaust manifolds before i pull the trigger from my wallet They from"Norms Speed Shop". Item num...- 121089182185 -They are 273/318 manifolds part no.s 2780945 an 2465769. But they will fit a 340 (which is what I need) is that correct.? Just bolt straight on. Do they have the same FLOW as the original 340 ex man..? Sand blasted an painted and gasket surface milled. $295. Seems like a good price..? Not too worried if not matching numbers. Any advice...??

Not even close to the same as 340 manifolds. That's big money for a pair of 318 manifolds.

Just because they bolt up, doesn't mean they are good. 318 2 bbl intakes bolt up to a 340, wanna run one of those?

For ~300 you can find unfinished 340 manifolds if patient.

Ok....thank you very much Crackedback.. I will be patient then.. Cheers

No sure they will fit your application, since you're in Auz....isn't the steering column on the other side of the car down there????

Hi 65val. Yes you are correct our cars are RHD. But I've got a 69 340 dart swinger that I purchased an shipped from the states.- LHD.. I want it to look as stock as possible hence the search for high Flowing Ex manifolds. We are going to paint it either turquoise or Hemi orange as original but still not sure which one is correct. One person says this an the other says that..? Still researching .?? Cheers mate...

Ok , then...I guess you're waiting (patiently?)...be prepared to pay a good buck...340 mani's, in good shape, ain't cheap...especially the '68/'69 versions.

Good luck!

Just from a quick search on FABO, $400/pr and up, depending on condition.

Yep your spot on 65Val. That's around the mark and then I gotta ship it to OZ and clean Em up. So will be patient unfortunately ...
