I just built a 340 and am needing to put it in tomorrow. I have the 90 degree adapter on there with just the bigger round gasket but just wondering if I really need the smaller round cork gasket?

Not being a wise guy here, but if you don't need it, why do they include it? Food for thought.

I have two of the gasket sets on my shelf and both of them have the smaller cork gasket.

Very true very true. I wonder where I could get the gasket set at fairly quickly

More than likely it will be, I usually get my orders up here in Michigan the very next day if I order during the week, and before cut off time.

Yes they do . I found out the hard way with 5 quarts in my driveway.

Dang yeah I wouldn't want that to happen. But see I primed the engine and while priming it I had 80psi oil pressure and the adapter began to leak so I tightened it up and so far it stopped leaking so I thought I may be good

If it starts leaking again while in the car it can be a *****. Better off to do it right.

Hi folks I just wanted to add Dec or jan. I went to order one from summit they didn't have any then went to our local auto part store they told me It was a direct part from dodge, then I called dodge they told me some dodge dealer in northern Wisconsin had 3 left.. nobody had any until the back order from dodge was to go thru..so I got an idea and went to napa and asked for if they had gasket material, he asked how thick I wanted with the cork then I just traced around the adapter then cut the circle out with a razor blade, then I traced another diameter circle a 1/4 of an inch inside the circle and carefully cut it out with a razor blade and made a nice gasket.. Now I mounted it and it leaked a little after warmup then tightened it finally stopped leaking for good, drove the car recently to my dads 2 and a half hour trip without a leak..just an F.Y.I. Gasket material cost more than 10 dollars and comes in a cork role more than what you need but I will use the rest eventually... Don't by the thinnest, by a little thick..

Is it that the dealerships can't order them or that they WON'T? I went to the nearest dealership looking for a fuel pump concentric, and was told "we can order one but, you would be better off to go to a junkyard and get one", which I took as "we don't want to bother ordering one."

Hard to say on the fuel pump eccentric, they may have said that because of price.

It probably depends on the dealer. The dealer I use is a Mopar Performance parts dealer as well. I don't think all dealerships are, I could be mistaken.
