She was the first female that made me realize I really enjoyed looking at beautiful females. I wrote a letter to her 25 years ago when she first announced that she had MS. I told her how much I loved the goofy beach movies she starred in along with Frankie Avalon.

Benji - Since I live in Orange County (SoCal), obviously Disneyland is a big part of life and culture here. There was an article in today's local newspaper about her passing and her career. Do you know why Annette wore a one-piece bathing suit in those Beach Blanket films when all the other teen actresses wore bikinis? Because Walt Disney asked her to in order to uphold her image.
