I am pretty certain my 68 Barracuda (originally slant 6) has 9" drums. If I decide to put off any type of disc brake conversion for now, what would it take to convert from 9" to 10" brakes? Thanks in advance.

The front spindles are different so you would need everything there. To do the rearend you would have to pull the axles and switch the backing plates. The big problem is the rear brake drums are scarce and pricey.

Not good news. My Barracuda has 9", I sure, and I've been told I'll have to go to disc brakes which is pricey. I thought...if I can go to 10" drums... May not matter for the rear anyway as I'm going to a Dana60 .354 and can get the maker to set it up. Back to the drawing board....

I'll have to double check the size, but I'm pretty sure I've got a 10" drum setup laying here connected to a K-frame I pulled out of a Dart.

one way to know, is look at the upper ball joint area
10" is straight
