AWESOME!! Im sure you will jump right back in. Myself, have just got over shingles...so starting to feel better now.

FINALLY got my car back home, car sat in someone else,s shop for ever it seems with nothing done but staring at it and it was getting used as a table and storage so its home now where I can work on it:cheers: I'm in the process of selling an 85 yamaha virago 700 to buy parts, in need of front control arms, spindles and brakes to covert to a disk setup let me know what ya got and how much, plus I'm looking for 451 pistons

Are you going long rod or short? Forged or hyper?
going long rod and would like forged pistons I didn't know they made hyper pistons for this setup, cool learn something every day 8) I've been looking at 440 source pistons, was hoping someone had some that I could save a few bucks on.

I'm in the process of selling an 85 yamaha virago in very good shape and a 1.5 ton split unit furnace/ac with coil furnace and out side condenser all brand new still on the crates.
trying to raise the money to buy the 500 stroker kit in the sales threads I'm back on this car everyday now so its time to get stuff done lol

got a question on mounting this 400 in my duster, this will be mostly a race car but it'll make that trip to town sometimes to car shows and to show off some lol
I have both the conversion mounts and a set of elephant ears what would be the best for this all around car

The biggest pro for the elephant ears is you can cut the mount stands off the K frame. More room for headers and working on the thing. But they are solid. If you don't mind the vibrations it will be fine.

hey I never thought about cutting the mounts off for more room, good deal, now as far as the elephant ears is that all thats holding the motor, those and the trans mount?? they hold up on launches at the strip with say a 500 hp motor and big slicks??

Yes they do.

I think the bike is sold this weekend so I'll have between 1200 and 1500 of the 1850 for that stroker kit WHOOOO HOOOO :burnout:

Hope the guy gives me the full 1500 I'm asking but have a feeling I'm going to get talked down some no lower then 1200

well the sell fell through because of a wife throwing a huge fit plus I could tell really quick the guy knew nothing of riding motorcycles so the bike is going on craigslist I just hope the kit don't sell before I can sell this stuff
