Well I finally have a lift in my garage. I bought it barely used for $900 from a guy who was closing his shop. It is a direct lift 9000lb capacity. I have it levelled and bolted to the floor. I need to get a 30a 220v outlet and breaker today and will be in business!

Is it a 4 post?

They need to be leveled to hit stops correctly, but do not really need to be bolted.

Have a cytech 4 post that been using for about 13 years and never bolted it down, have a set of casters to easily move it

Nice buy

Congrats. Lucky dog, that really brings things to the next level. I get excited over a new floor jack :D

Hey that's great , just be careful you don't fall into the same trap I did , which is I inadvertently created more room for anther Mopar, one on top one underneath

Lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I had one.

Thanks everyone. I just left my job so all my tools are home too. It is a two post bottom cable so I don't think I will be parking other vehicles underneath unless I have to.

hope you enjoy yr new lift itll save you time and pain i bought a backyard buddy lift i really like it

They don't need to be bolted down, but I still get a little nervous while lifting.

Mine has six 3/4" studs per side holding it to the floor. Electrician is coming on Thursday to run a 100a 220v service to the garage. Only wired for 110v now.

Ive had mine for a couple of years now. I have found things with the car that I would have never noticed until it was too late. I installed a high lift garaged door track so it opens up over the car. I also mounted the pump on a hinge to swing it out of the way when not in use. Mine is bolted to the floor and is 220 (makes the lift operate faster than the 110). Enjoy! Andrew
