Hi All,

I've got a 1966 Valiant that I bought last summer.
It came with a steering wheel that just doesn't go with the car, it looks like it belongs on a mustang.

I've look for NOS and reproduction steering wheels for this car and there is not much selection at all - and what is available is way too expensive.

So here's my question:
Can anyone recommend an aftermarket mid-60s looking steering wheel that what will go with the car's interior? I'm not looking to reproduce the 'fresh off the assembly line' look, just something that won't look out of place.
My dash and dash pad are black, so a good old fashioned black steering wheel will be just fine.

Thanks, guys.

Classic Grant wood-grip steering wheel with rivets has been around for decades. This is the same wheel that I had on my first '69 340 Swinger.

Or you can go even more basic with just a plain black vinyl grip on the same chrome-plated spokes.

Thanks, guys.

I'll take a look at what Grant has to offer.

i love the old grant woodgrain wheel....takes me right back to the late 60's
