The Full Experience

In my opinion, I gotta say that if you find an engine that's an 'easy rebuild,' IE not needing a bunch of machine work just to rebuild it and get it together, and a mild street engine, IE not ridiculous compression ratio, etc, probably the most bang for the buck is a 360. Speaking strictly LA, not magnum. But you will have to change the pan, as the LA 318/ 360 pans are different, and you'll have to change the (stick) flywheel or buy an aftermarket balance--correcting flex plate if using a 318/ neutral balance converter.
