I'm doing the same setup. I had the exhaust manifold re-surfaced. What are you doing about the seal for where the intake bolts to the exhaust? I think the problem is that steel gasket. wonder if there's a fibre gasket available
I just followed the dutra install instructions. (but I think there is a fiber gasket by remflex)I had to get 2 different manifolds before I got one to line up good in that area, I also did the grinding bit to get extra clearance in a couple of areas. right now the manifold is just wall art until I get my head redone. I'm going with the larger valves and a 60 thou cut on the head. I'm still debating on the block to see how much to take off and how much it'll cost. I'm pretty sure I'll have to go 30 over pistons to get the bores cleaned up and compression back to 175+. right now I'm 110 across the board. plus the pistons are pretty deep in the hole right now.
