Went to an all mopar wrecking yard today.

They do sell complete cars and I would say their prices an parts and cars are fair. Their not a steel, but I don't think they gouge you either. I am going to post pictures of a Mexican Valiant they have here in just a bit that is very solid and has the Mexican super bee wheels and everything. They want $1700 for it.

If anyone is around Portland and wants to go, send me a message and I'll see if I can go too.

And they do have a really good selection of project cars. There was a 71 GY3 demon, 73 sun roof duster, 75 sun roof dart and a 74 360 dart along with lots of other projects.

I see that you met Vanessa, good girl and she knows her stuff..
wildcat autos are good folks..

Very good people. I have bought stuff from them and it seems reasonable. They website is pretty good too.

Thanks

I had good luck with them, too. They honored their warranties.

Hey, check out this Toad which, IIRC, one of the guys at Wildcat built. (If I'm wrong about who built this car, please correct me.)

How cool would it be to own that place. I'd be happy just to live near it.
Still drolling. Thanks for the pics.

Those are some great pics Jeremy! That yard looks very well organized and there seem to be alot of complete cars there as well. Thanks for sharing! I hope your back starts feeling better.

Wow, that is just too cool. Thanks for sharing the pics and the info. A couple of those 2nd gen cuda bodies look better than mine.

Awesome selection for sure. Too bad they don't get back to you when you want to buy something. I tried several times. Same with Stephens in MO. I think.

Thanks for the well wishes on my back guys, I met with the surgeon on Friday and hope to have a date set up soon.

As for them not getting back to you, there are only like four people working the place. Sometimes it takes a little bit to get back with you. While I was there, they were out looking for pieces for people and making sure to send the best parts out. Send them another email and I am sure they will get to you as soon as they can.

And yes, this is probably the cleanest yard I have ever had the pleasure of exploring. Lots of fun for sure...

geez...I wish we had something like this here...very jealous..

Grassy

Man, I could spend all day walking around there, just looking. Very cool!

Thanks for sharing the cool pics! I gotta say I twitch when I see old Mopars stacked on the roof of another car like that....lol

I will be in that neck of the woods next week . i would like to check it out.

Went Wenesday to Wild Cats. My first time . I was really impressed. Everything neat and stacked, well organized. Heres some more pictures.

Wow....I have about 50 comments swirling around my head, mostly like "how did some of these cars end up here!?".....especially this truck:

Anyone know if there is a place like this in the Southern California area? I just may have to take a trip to Oregon.

Thanks for the pictures, just getting into the Mopars and liking all the body styles.

Well worth the trip. I'm only abot 180 miles, I didn't catch everything. I would say about 10 acres of cars ,parts bins etc and a couple more acres of shops and Mopar what nots. They do sell complete cars. I was looking at the blue Challenger ,it looked like one I used to have. They wanted $3500 for it , I paid $3500 new for mine in 72. They pull their cars from all over. The owner said it was getting harder to find this stuff.

Just wicked cool makes me sad! Need to find a 1973-1974 roadrunner/sat parts car

I sent them 6 or 7 emails over a two week period and called them 3 times. The last conversation I had was we'll get back to you. I was ready to spend a few hundred bucks too.

That place is pretty awesome from the looks of it. Would be a fun weekend trip on the travel vouchers I've got stored up from business travel! I could see people getting in trouble there if the prices are in the right place.

Ya. I know what you mean. I think some days their really jump'n and some their not . When we went there it didn't seem to be overly buisy but alot of their buiseness is internet and phone. I've had the same problem calling them the trick is to get a name and ask for that person each time.

like I died and went to mopar heavon I like the way he seemed to have it organized pretty good, think he saw itno the future ,or just started with a few and it grew into what is is today ?? and theres not much rust out there we used to have a few of those here in Wisconsin but the department of natural resources closed them down said they were polluting the groundand creeks ,so 2 of them close to us after the got it all cleaned up they put in a land fill for 1 of the dumps waiste management threw at the government to put our garbage at. then when they turned into 1000 foot hills of toxic waist theyput nice black firt over them grew grass prettied it up and sold it to unsuspecting people to put there new houses on and move the kids in . we wopuld luv to have a pick a part here close enough to take a saterday and just walk them like when we were kids .look at the mopar candy in there wow thanks for the pictures

I had the privilege of working there from age 20-23. Ed and Phyllis Yost are good people. People need to understand they are a small undermanned staff and they had over 750 pre 1979 mopar cars in that yard when I worked there over 10 years ago. They ship all over the world. we literally sent entire cars to Austrailia back then. I shipped parts to Sweden as well. I learned so much about all years and makes of these cars there, the knowledge was priceless. Glad this place is still alive when a lot of the yards have died out or become victim to the supply and demand need of say a Pick N Pull (Honda civics and minivans).
