Thanks Scott way to post the picture of me totally toasted lol you know you've had enough when you start forgetting to open the bottles eh , any word from Bill lately ? haven't seen anything from him on here in a while , anybody know what happened with Billy Jr and the stupor bowl ?
 
I seen Bill and Billy J in March(Billy J had a gig going on)Bill has been busy promoting his son for future events.I hope to see him again before MoparFest and will ask him if he,s going this year.8)
 
Yeah sure would be nice to have him around he's a fun guy to drink with , I'm thinking this will be the last time for this car and want to turn the stupid meter all the way to tilt eh lol . Of course I reserve the right to rescind that statement if they put up something I really want a shot at winning in 2014 and I can't find another car and get it built in time .
 
I was over at Bill's yesterday.Wants to be there for sure. He is up in the air. The Havlock fair is not written in stone yet. Billy Jr. is doing real well and these concert events are key for him at this stage (new album coming out).
Hope you don't mind me explaining the situation Bill. The guys are just curious.

If anybody is on the fence deciding if they should go to the show, GO!.
Hopefully allot of our Fabo members from across the border can make it.

Of course that hotel is the best that's where we hang out duh !!! LOL itis star fish shaped with hot cars all the way around several other clubs make it their base and everybody is cool with no idiots messing with anybody's stuff , it's on the west side of Kitchener about 15mins from New Hamberg , I have been staying across the street at the Radisson because they have nicer rooms and I get a better rate but I spend all my time hanging at the Best Western , my car even ends up parked their on Friday .
 
Any US member, or any FABO member for that matter, that is not pre-registered as a FABO member and comes to the show, please do not hesitate to contact me, I will be at the grounds from Wednesday to close on Sunday.
I can pull some strings and get you in with the group/club. No promises, as we have more vehicles and vendors every year, so parking does get tight. But I usually can make it happen. For accommodations, motels, BB's, the list is being updated, so check the website for updates. There's also a few campgrounds close to the show, if you prefer camping.

Right On Giles where you been buddy I looked for you last year , hope you can spend some time with us this year .

PS make sure those guys from last year don't sneak in and move the signs around again I was on the grounds Friday afternoon and we were in our usual spot then come Saturday these guys are trying to park in our spot and the signs have been shuffled around so we're supposed to move onto the gravel ball diamond -not happening- Scotty John and I straightened them out real quick but it was a little testy for a while there eh lol ! Great to see your name on the board again

I spent all of Saturday and most of Sunday inside the arena last year. Those cars and owners deserve special attention, I did a very quick walk around both days, but that's exactly what it was, a quick walk around.

I still have some arena duties this year, but I will not limit myself to that area only this year, maybe I can get a golf cart with a cooler on it.

LOL, I've heard about the club parking "thing", it will likely happen again though. It's still a work in progress thing, we've never had "Club Parking" before, this will be the fourth year(?) . The area is relatively small and more clubs are finding out and signing up for it. I believe (not sure) their needs to be a minimum number of members sign up in order to get a spot.
I'm thinking the sooner you guys sign up, the better the chances.
If you guys have any suggestions/ideas to make the show better, let me know. I'll bring it up, we can't think of everything. There's a lot of groups and volunteers involved, and each as a specific task they concentrate on.
Any idea that would help make the show better will most definitely be looked at, or any other concerns for that matter.
It's all about making it a great weekend for everyone!

Oh and we have some wings for "The Champ" :cheers:, and an award for 4,098 km traveled.
 
yeah I heard about that mileage award eh lol ! for the record it's quite a bit more as I stay in Canada the whole way and I have to drive it round trip , the club parking seemed fine Friday when I was there it was 1 guy from another club who tried to pull a fast one and it's pretty hard to police an area that big but we will be pre-registered with plenty of time .Like I said before it's good to hear from you I was worried you had dropped out of the hobby or something .
