My question is, WTF are you doing mailing stuff you sold on craigslist, and WHY are you taking money orders/checks?
Seriously, you're asking to get scammed. Cash talks, losers walk. If you want to sell stuff and mail it, do so on eBay where you have at least minor recourse and some scope of who you're selling to.
Oh, and to address the issue, you're selling on CL. Getting toyed with goes with the territory.
