I just bought a 1970 schwinn stingray apple krate. Mostly original. Nice original paint and the chrome that will clean up nice. Anyone know a good solid value on these? I've seen them on eBay from 350.00 to 2000.00. I can send pics to anyone that knows these bikes. Thanks, mike.

Nah my *** hurts to much when riding bike. And I think I'm too lazy anyways.lol. I bought this bike because it caught my eye and looked cool.

Nah my *** hurts to much when riding bike.

I'm finally getting too arthritic and lame to ride, but if you still can get yourself a recumbent. I built my first one after my "big accident" that left me with damage to both legs, and rode it until arthritis finally got too much a few years later, when I bought first one, then a second recumbent trike These recumbents are incredibly comfortable to ride, and I wish I'd had one years and years earlier. My neck problems have for many years made tilting my head "back" to ride a conventional bike uncomfortable, and I've never found a seat that liked me. (Of course you can get recumbent two--wheelers as well, but by the time I bought my trike, I needed a trike, as I could not reliably ride hard enough to keep on a two--wheeler)

My first trike, a Sun EZ-3SX, which I modified with front hand cranks, and a cut down scooter off the rear for electric boost, in the end

My present trike, which I'm now unable to ride very far at all, a Sun with under seat steering, which I hoped to convert to a "row" setup. It has had the non driven left wheel/ axle modified for electric booster drive

Bottom photo is the bike I threw together in ?2000? made out of junk parts. It's a rough copy of what was then called an "EZ racer" or "tour EZ" The reason my watch is on my right is that I broke and scarred my left wrist, and only lately has it become "desensitized" enough that I can now again stand a watch band on my left. LOL, the huge crank is one out of a bike I had when I was a kid from the early sixties!!!!

Not a expert but it depends on options. Disc brakes, Top tube shifter, small front tire, and so on.

I'll send you a PM I would like to see pictures

Pics sent . It has all them options. Only thing that was changed is the rear tire and reflectors taken off. Other than that I think it's all stock down to the factory handle grips.

Pretty darn nice solid bike. Like I said no expert here, but my uncle had three or four of these in his bike shop in similar condition. He just had them mostly on display. One guy wanted two of them and made him a $1,600 offer my uncle just said I thought you wanted both?

Anyways looks like yours in missing the chain guard and some of these bikes had a disc brake on the rear wheel too along with the drum front. I know the springer front ends should have an "S" on some of the bolts or pins near the top on the sides.

I'm thinking your bike is probably worth somewhere north of $800 to about the $1,200 range, but of course I already stated that I'm not an expert.
