I bought the kit to fix my steering wheel years ago.... still haven't dared to touch it LOL. I guess it'll make a good project for me over the winter. Just out of curiosity, what type of paint should I use and do you just clear coat it when its done?

I glass beaded mine first and the used the 2 part epoxie to fill in the missing pieces.(lots of sanding involved) after that I hit it with Bulldog Adhesion Promoter(makes paint stick real good!) then epoxy sealer. high build primer and then paint "n" clear coat.
took a while to do but it'll stay on the wheel for a while. I bough one from a member on here that's going on the wife's car. some of the finger grips are gone worse than mine was but overall in a lot better shape then the one pictured above. that ones gotta be perfect since I'm going to do it it blue metal flake (97 neon pain color) to match the wife's car's eventual color.
