Hey guys, I'm back again! Haha
This time around, I got myself a car;

1965 plymouth valiant 4 door sedan, super six, auto, 93,000 miles.
Everything works, is all there and just needs a few routine parts (fluid changes, filters, brakes, etc) the underbody and subframes are almost rust free which is awesome. The car had been sitting since 1995. Got it for a wopping $100 bill.

So the story goes, a few of my buddies and I were cruising around getting into a bit of trouble with my jeep. Came to a stop sign when buddy says " Take a right, right now" Off we go, and as soon as we turn the corner I see this 65 valiant, sunk right into the ground, talk to the older man who said it was his sons car and to come back tomorrow!

Well we came back the next day, and sure enough the son was ready to sell, he just wanted it out of his yard. I dropped off the money, took a quick look at it, and left to grab transfer papers.

We came back with a battery, and some fresh fuel, the guy looks at us and starts laughing "You dont think you'll get it running, do you?!"

Hooked up the battery, threw some water in the rad and gas down the carb, she fired right up. The owner was so surprised! Haha.

Pulled it out with my Jeep because the fuel pump is shot, or I would've drove it out.

I have pics and a video that I'll post up, I'm pretty excited about this little car.

Haha, I'm not too too sure as of yet, I know it's going to sit a bit lower by the time she's on the road, and other than that, I'll clean it up, and drive it till the wheels fall off, haha.

Welcome back Mike!! Where the heck you been man, Dig'en that cool ride and it sure is good to see you back with us and with a big smile on
Congratulations on a super deal :thumleft:

Welcome back Mike, very nice car you saved there! But please don't disappear on us again!

You wacky canadians with your darts that you call valiants. What is the next thing you are going to change? The name of HAM? Seriously though nice score and that is worth way more than $100 just in parts.

Are you sure that it is not a "Super 225" instead of a "super six" there is a big difference. If it is a 1bbl then it is a super 225.

Thanks guys! It's nice to actually have an a-body to work on and call my own!

I must've been mistaken as its only a super 225, but she runs good.

Hopefully it'll run better after tomorrow when I do the fuel pump, oil change, and plugs and wires!

When you do the plugs make sure to remove the little washers on the spark plugs, they are not used on slants with the "drool" tube heads.

Welcome back! I didn't know they were valiant tagged in Canada I was thinking dude that's a dart lol

Good to see you are back! That is an awesome deal, reminds me of when I was a senior (1997) and I got the exact same deal, but it was with a 72 swinger! A 2dr, but the ugliest combo...pale yellow with green interior!

Welcome back Mike!
Any more news on the car?
Got it on the road yet?
