1966 dart convertible

Kurt, when I'm finished, not if but when, I'm driving to florida to buy you a beer. Or ten. I did send a copy of the title and bill of sale to the Chrysler archives to get a copy of the broadcast sheet. I was going to get a fender tag made, but I was lucky enough to find it tonight lurking in a box with about 20# of nuts, bolts and fasteners. I should consider myself lucky, almost everything is there. It definately took me longer to shake out than I thought. I would like to find the original protecto plate. I was considering dark red or Turbine bronze, but after re thinking it, I may go back to the original color. I thought it was maroon poly but the tag I think says bright red????
Again, thanks for your help, you'll probably be sick of me by the time this is finished.

hey glad to help.

Sometimes it can be frustrating trying to get parts and things identified and where they go. It's a very good group on here that can help you out.
qq1 paint code, I think comes out as red poly.(the fender tag looks maroon to me but you know designers) I LIKE that color. my 67 was that color. I wanted to paint the wife's dart that color with a pearl white interior and white top but Nooooooo she want's the brilliant blue metalflake(and the white interior) that she had on the custom 65 Satellite I did for her in the 80's (darn near bass boat metal flake) but I'm going a lot smaller flake and try to convince her she was wrong or doesn't remember on the size.:D and I AIN'T doing the panel lace thing again! she loved it but DANG it was gaudy! It had a 440 4 speed and she flogged the heck out of it.

as for being sick of ya...nah, you should have seen me trying to figure out mine! so not a problem.
