wtb 1965 dodge dart /charger commando 273 4bl. 4 speed

I have learned very little about the dart chargers. What exactly make a charger? I'm mixed up on the car I own...this is a hardtop gt 4-speed car, on the dash pad it has a commando v-8 emblem. Also on the rear valence it had the square notch. That makes me think it is a charger? But I believe the production was in St. Louis mo and I heard that chargers were made in Cali.
