360 magnum build

Just some food for thought.

1) the EQ Monster Magnums are the exact same castings as the EQ Magnums. The only difference is the springs/restainers. Clearwater sells a version with 2.02 intake valve for $375. If you call them up they will install springs to match your cam specs. If you have them use the .550" springs and stock retainers you can get them for $400 each.

2) Call up Comp and go custom on the cam it is the same price. Why spend all that money for a efi computer compatible cam? You will need to decide if you plan to run a electric or mechanical fuel pump.

3) I would skip the roller rockers and just use the stock rockers and pedestals. Thats a lot of money for a little return. If you go custom on the cam you won't need a 1.7 rocker bandaid to make your cam seem bigger.

4) Summit long tubes are a pain to install and 2 1/2" exhaust should be fine for a street car. Summit sells header to bumper exhaust kits in 2 1/2" for a good price.

5) If you look up Clearwater in the BBB don't be surprised to see an "F" rating. They are not registered/certified by/with the BBB.

Looks like a fun project!
