I am thinking of adding either Wiliwood or SSB disc brakes to my 1964 Dart. Both bolt on kits only work with 15" rims. I would like to keep a stock look with hubcaps or something similar.

Does anyone one have suggestion for rims? Also, what 15" width rims and tires work with this car?

Any pictures of similar car setups would be cool!!!

I'm considering the scarebird swap. I believe you can keep your 14" wheels if you want...

From scarebird.com:

"This conversion will fit the 14 x 5" stock Rally's, but not the 14" poverty rims unless some minor grinding is done to the 1990 Celebrity calipers (note: we have found some brands of caliper will indeed clear the stock rims without grinding). We also offer fitted calipers for a modest fee. This will not fit the 13" rims."

I thought about the scarebird brakes, and I still may do that, but I think there is a lot more tire choice in the 15" world. So I am trying to figure out what size people have used on these cars. I would probably like to go with a steelie and dog dish setup.

I don't think there is anything affordable off the shelf in a 15 inch with sbp. All I can think of is 15x7 cragars from summitracing. Or call up the Stockton wheel company and have them make you a set exactly to your specs.

I posted this photo in another forum about the same subject.
63 Valiant with 15x7, 4 1/4'' backspace.Made by Stockton Wheel.
Stock suspension and ride height. 205 front,215 rear. Needed a little fender clearance on the front lower fenders.Rears rubbed the outer wheelhouse only with 4 people in the car in tight turns.

FYI. I used the SSBC kit on my '71 Dart GT (had the factory 10" drums up front). I was able to keep my 14" X 5.5" Rallye Wheels (using the 5 on 4" Small Bolt Pattern).
