Keeping with the old ones, I say 3, 61-62, 63-66, 67-76. Those 3 years were totally different cars, frames, body, roof, glass, etc. Yes, each class had some exterior changes but under the trim and and minor fender changes they were almost the same in the categories.

Rani, while I understand your reasoning behind breaking down the Dart generations the way you did, I would actually be more inclined to go with Keiths breakdown of 3 distinct generations.. (if for no other reason than its easier lol) .. as for the 67-76 breakdown, aside from trim, and the very nose and tail of the car, everything else for that stretch is virtually the same car..

And I believe the early A body being pre 67 and later A body being post 67 mainly refers to the fact that in 67 the engine compartment was widened (which in turn widened the front track dimensions of the car)..
